I will take a look at it today
Update - Looks like itās a difference between casual/formal. I have updated the subtitles for the cards accordingly. Feel free to āPropose Changesā similar to this in Actions.

Thanks! And also sorry, I always forget about āpropose changes.ā
Yeap, everything is perfect now, ENG-JP looks great too, thanks!
It appears that the spoiler function is no longer working.
New here and wanted to say thanks to the community for putting together this awesome deck. What are the recommended settings to get the most out of it as someone who already is ~20 levels into WaniKani? I assume I should enable sibling delay so I donāt spoil myself between audio and readings? Should I keep all the layouts active? Sorry if these are obvious questions - the amount of settings is a bit overwhelming.
@Neicudi Is there a way to manually level up a card? I got something āwrongā when I proposed changes and forgot to ignore after that.
Also, I would like to suggest that a card gets flipped to ācorrectā automatically after proposing changes, since its hard to remember to fix it each time.
Iām afraid there is not
depends on what youāre looking for, honestly. I also use this deck at the same time I use Wanikani. The big one that you absolutely HAVE to do is to go into manage cards and just filter out all of the cards tagged Wanikani. Thereās basically no reason to do otherwise unless if youāre okay studying the same thing twice.
Iām interested in covering the WaniKani vocab Eng to Japanese and audio to meaning, since WK doesnāt cover those. Would doing this remove those versions as well or just the Kanji recognition and reading cards?
@hinekidori It seems I canāt suggest changes on the app, so I just want to mention that there should be something to distinguish čŖęø and čŖćæ on the EN -> JP cards
Also, it might be good to search by default with https://dictionary.goo.ne.jp/word/ as the beginning followed by the kana version of it, since as it is, often the search fails with single kanji words, as it gives compounds and the kanji page itself.
Iām not sure if I fully understood your question, but once a layout is activated, youāll have to do it for all the cards (this is not the case with personal decks). So in a way, youād have to study all layouts activated for the WK words, you wouldnāt be able to select a smaller group.
Nevertheless, Kitsun recently launched a reversed WK deck where you can practice WK vocabulary from English to Japanese Itās tagged by levels.

I wouldnāt suggest all layouts, to be honest. Iād say keep it simple for now and only study Japanese meaning and Japanese reading. If youāre willing to also study ENG - JP, then activate sibling delay
If youāre an intermediate/advanced learner of Japanese, then Iād suggest only doing sentence cards only because at that point, one would know a big portion of the words in Core 10k already.
Would be great if it was possible to have multiple owners for this deck to review suggestions. Iām only 10% through but Iāve come across so many cards where the verb isnāt in the correct dictionary form for English (includes a to). For example kiru -> ācutā instead of āto cutā.
Deck owner has a life and can be on vacation or whatever, so thereās no guarantee theyāll review the suggestion and make it soon, so I have to keep remembering for several cards: oh this is a bad card, itās āto Xā, but Iāll get it wrong if I donāt put āXā, which is not great for studying.
In general, it would be great if this deck was audited for correct verb form rather than my having to make suggestions when coming across them. It feels like 1/3-1/2 of verbs are missing the ātoā
Just wanted to mention that you can add personal synonyms while you wait for the feedback to be reviewed. (Floating pencil button on the backside of the cards during lessons/reviews)
This at least would make it so it does not mark the card as incorrect for you
Sorry for the delay. Blur should be working on the cards again.
I just wanted to thank you for the quick acceptance of the proposed changes every time.
I missed this somehow. Sorry about that. Your suggested url caused the search to fail. I did however take your recommendation to change the search to the kana version.
Let me know if thatās an improvement
@hinekidori Can you please add the Core 10k WK Breakdown Deck (Core 10k sorted by WaniKani Level) with the WaniKani vocabulary filtered out and kana vocabulary included throughout?
I would recommend using the card management page to filter the 10k deck using the tags provided for WK and Level.
Though I see the advantage to providing the deck already preset to this, it would be redundant in the end and cause extra moderation that I donāt have time for.
