[Solved] Lightning Mode ignores synonyms

I was using the lightning mode for the first time, I noticed this:

  1. Enter an existing synonym for a card
  2. Answer is counted as wrong, but circle is green. The synonym is there.
  3. Ignore the answer
  4. Enter the same synonym again
  5. Answer is counted as correct this time.

I think this problem only occurs at lightning mode, I never noticed something in normal mode.

This might be related to the synonyms disappearing in general then. @Chikuhitsu and @onimitch could you confirm whether you use lightning mode or not?

I was using it on iOS so I could check the console, but I would say the synonyms were there all the time, but they are not considered when showing a question card in lightning mode coming from an answer, showing from a backside of a card or from ignore seems to be handled differently somehow.

Thanks for confirming. I’m not sure if the bugs are related but let’s check if the other problem still happens after I fix this one.

Pleased to announce that I’ve fixed it and I’m 99% sure this was the cause of the missing synonyms and notes. Thanks a ton to all who helped!

Glad I could help! Is there any way to accept an answer like in the WK forums? Admins can probably mark stuff as solved themselves as well.
