a couple of times per quick study round I get the same word back to back. I couldn’t find any other forum posts on this, but is it really intended to work this way?
I would get it if when you get something wrong, it get’s reshuffled, but this is usually even on the first shuffle.

When you start quick study you get asked for how many times you want to see a card, did you put 1 when you were prompted?
No, I usually find that 3 is a good fit for me. (I don’t see how putting 1 could create back to back duplicates though. That would be really weird?)

At the moment it is completely random. I agree with you that it would be nicer to have them spread out a bit though, as having the same one on repeat probably does not help that much with retention.
