Hi there,

Not sure if this has been asked before, but I noticed that modals (like card edit) don’t have any hotkey to close them. Would it be possible for this to be added some time soon?

Hey!

Some of them do have hotkeys (ESC to close, CTRL+S to save (and close in some cases) ), although I don’t completely remember which ones do and don’t at the moment.

I’ll put it on my list to double-check all modals :slight_smile:

It wasn’t really a setback in anyway, but since I have to do lots of reviews, having to move a mouse to close a modal I accidentally opened every time is a bit annoying :sweat_smile:

You could also change the hotkey for that modal to something else in the user settings to hopefully eliminate the problem :slight_smile:

I’m guessing it opens when you press E and Enter to submit the answer? If the E-key is released after the Enter key then it triggers the modal. I spent some time on it for the latest update, but it required quite some changes. It’s still on my list to change/fix soon though :slight_smile:

Sorry for the late response.

That’s basically what I encounter the most when doing reviews.

Changing the hotkey is a perfect workaround, I’ll give it a try :slight_smile:
