So I want Kitsun to act like wanikani but im having some problems setting it up. A problem I came access is when i wanted to add sections. For example. Once you level up in wanikani a whole bunch of new lessons become accessible. Can this be done and kitsun and how can i do it.
The way I handled this is to divide the content into ‘levels’ and associate the content with a level ‘tag’ (see lost levels deck) to allow deck filtering. User would hibernate the content and ‘awaken’ it once ready for the next level. But the arbitrary auto release like WK ( 70% > guru or whatever it is), Kitsun is not gating the content like that. You can do the math via the SRS level the same way if someone wants (# seen in the manager) but I’d say once you are ready, you will know when to add lessons. There is the argument on whether gating content is actually helping the learner or just extending monthly subscriptions 
(personally I prefer the autonomy).
