Later on these will be joined by more Textbook and slang vocabulary decks. Next to Japanese I will be expanding on content for Korean and Chinese soon afterwards as well 
As for the existing (soon to be deprecated) default layouts/templates, I will create button that will automatically convert all the cards (using the default templates) of a deck to the new defaults if you wish so.
On another note, I will also start hiding the deprecated templates/layouts by default, and you will be able to unhide them through an account setting
