The first thing I noticed after trying out the first 5 cards of spoon fed Chinese.

Maybe set this by deck if doing so is unsuitable in other contexts.

It’s surely relevant to learning Chinese though.

Actually you can already change whether audio autoplays or not.

If you go the the deck edit page (settings), you will be able to toggle the audio autoplay frontside / backside on or off:
