Consider half-width and full-with numbers to be the same thing

Often I include numbers in my flashcards - things like:

four and a half hours4時間半

Bu depending on the device (PC/Phone) and input method (Text/Voice) I’m using for my reviews, sometimes numerals default to full-width, and other times they default half-width.

So to account for both, I always have to add two valid answers to my cards:
four and a half hours4時間半,4時間半

This is workable, but a bit of a pain.

Would it be feasible to update the answer-checking code to consider half-width and full-width numerals the same?

(And as always, I absolutely love the platform - thanks so much for making it so great.)

Thanks!

Hey, sorry for the late reply!

I think it would be possible to add, yeah! I’ll put it on the list :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Glad to hear it’s on the list!

Fingers crossed it’ll bubble up to the top soon – I do still keep getting burned by this, to this day :persevere:

I don’t know why IME’s are so inconsistent with this. Even Windows own IME seems to pick between half/full width numbers at random - what gives!? :face_with_symbols_over_mouth:
