Currently my process when adding cards is to use the dictionary card generation feature. It’s great, takes out a bunch of the leg work and I end up with generally higher quality cards then I would if I had written them myself. One additional step I take which could possibly by done programmatically is then grabbing a sentence (and its translation) from tatoeba.org. I think this would take this already wonderful feature to the next level.

For sure! We’re currently working on something that will eventually replace the Jisho.org API calls we currently use for the Japanese dictionary cards, as those return limited amounts of data. Example sentences will definitely be a part of that!
