For example viewing All Cards in the 10k - Kitsun Optimized deck and querying L1 gives results with L1 but also with L10, L11 and so forth.

Sadly, L1 would still show results for L1X as well 
That said, thanks for the suggestion! This is a known issue and is something I hope to solve with the new cards screen coming with the complete redesign of Kitsun. Until then, I’m afraid I can’t offer a good workaround yet.

I ended up hibernating all cards that appear in L10|L11|…|L19 search results, then L20|L21|…|L29, which raises another issue of such manipulation being painfully slow, you have to click all the load more a dozen of times, and every time you click it loads slower and slower. I hope the new redesign would have either load all button or other more convenient method to filter cards efficiently.

Definitely! I’m currently experimenting with options to make it load everything at once without overloading either the server or the user’s browser, as right now, that is the biggest reason why it doesn’t load everything at once.
