A few questions for those who may know…
-
The database shows 20,000 cards. Am I correct that there are 10,000 words, but the cards are Engish-Japanese and Japanese-English?
-
in deck settings → layout filtering, are these correct?
1- Vocab Meaning is: Japense word → write English meaning
2 - ENG->JP is: English word → write Japanese word
3- Vocab Listening: Listen to Japanese → write English meaning
4- Vocab Reading: Listen to Japanese → write the word in Japanese
5- Sentence Listening Practice → listen and state meaning in English
6- Sentence Reading Practice → listen in Japanese and ??
Given that I set the deck to always read the word, is the last two redundant (sentence listening and sentence reading practice)?
I have 1, 2, and 3 enabled (as well as 5, 6). Does that mean, for each word, I need to review it 3 x before it gets done?

Is there a way (when reviewing listening practice cards) to repeat the word being read without using the mouse to click on the arrow? A keyboard short-cut key perhaps?

Is there a way to get the cards to be reviewed to be spaced closer to each other rather than what appears to be random? When I work on deck, I would like to work in small time chunks and get the word out of the review queue. Right now, if I quit, some words just end up being repeated again beause I did not do the flip side of the card.
Like many else here, I wish the deck was made in more managable, goal-oriented chunks - JLTP level, for example, so that progress could be measured, and study could be optimized. Right now, going through 20,000 cards seems like a huge neverending task.
Thanks.
